Any chance he actually ends up making the team? West looked to be pretty lacking last week, though the OL obviously wasn't helping much.

“CJ Spiller has been an unbelievable surprise,” Bieniemy said. “He has been healthy. If you haven’t noticed, he is pretty fast. He is pretty fast, pretty explosive. He does a great job in the run game. He has been doing a great job picking up the offense and I cannot complain.”

Bieniemy said that he can’t speak to Spiller’s past, which is that of a back who hasn’t rushed for over 300 yards since 2013. He can only speak to what he’s seen with Spiller in training camp.

“He comes to work every single day and does a great job of asking questions in the classroom,” Bieniemy said. “He does a great job of taking notes and then he comes out here and he works his tail off as if he was a rookie. He is one of those guys who comes early and stays late.”

I feel like Spiller is clearly the better, more explosive player. Even with his injury history, I think he should get the nod over West. West is the latest Boerigter to get the fans hopes up but never really grow.

i was told just a week ago i was an idiot if i thought spiller would be held and DAT might be cut. then they used spiller on KR wk1 preseason game. the opportunity is there for him.

i htink they actually keep 4 RBS

I'm not too thrilled with West and I'm a bit low on Ware, but I doubt Spiller is the answer.
I'd like to see more of Hunt in these next two preseason games to get a good read on what we have there.
