jones and kemp i'd love to see stick, or we'll be at risk to lose em. I had a thought it we flexed to keep 7 WRs and let go of the extra TE, use Jones as that 3rd TE on routes in the 3 TE set.

chesson not sure he's shown enough, but trading up in the 4th (4th & 5th essentially) i'm pretty sure they'll keep him active.

Keep Hill, Conley, Wilson, Robinson, Chesson, Jones, Kemp

cut DAT
PS for Deiter

Keep only 2 TEs, Kelce & Harris, cut Escobar and try to squeeze Travis on the PS

should add i kept only 2 TEs to hold onto the 4 RB (plus sherman). if we can get some value for west, do it and keep travis.
Kemp will make it through waivers, Jones won't. DAT is Tyreek Hill insurance so they can't cut him.

I think that at this point, both Robinson and Chesson make it through waivers. Maybe one or both steps up and shows something in the final two preseason games but I doubt it.

Travis makes it through waivers easily but they'll keep 3 TE's, minimum, and if nothing else, Escobar has been a fantastic Red Zone weapon during his career.

I doubt Travis gets many more looks during preseason for the sole reason of placing him back on the Practice Squad.

Jones will make this team. The TD that Bray threw to him was all on Jones. He saw where the safety was and changed his route. That's what you do to make a team!

I think we keep 3 TEs and have 1 stashed somewhere because we run a lot of 3 TE sets. A couple have mentioned 4 RBs (including Sherman), but who would the 3rd be besides Hunt and Ware? I'd rather keep S. Jones over Wilson. DAT is our returner unless someone else steps up. Hill is too valuable for that.

If we keep 3 TEs than we might keep 5 RBs including Sherman like we did when McKnight was on the roster.

Any chance they keep Charles as the 4th TE/H-back/Backup FB? I keep hearing about Travis in practice but I don't think I've ever seen him do anything in an actual game.

I really doubt that Reid cuts DAT, he likes him too much as a backup KR/PR/WR/RB.

Stashed? Huh? Do you mean the Practice Squad?

The only tight end on the roster available for the PS is Travis. Escobar and Orson have too many accrued seasons.

Um, hello? Charcandrick West. Spiller's a possibility, too, but he's a hangnail from missing the season.

Either Travis stashed on the PS or someone on speedial.

Which one, Spiller or West?

If it's a choice between Chesson or Wilson, I'll take Chesson. I'm tired of seeing Wilson make the team and then forgetting how to stretch out during the season.

But Wilson leads the team in TDs during the postseason

The Chiefs can't "stash" him. He has to be waived and if he clears waivers, he's eligible to agree to PS terms with the Chiefs or any other team.

IMO, there's no question that it's West. He's younger and finally healthy after battling a high ankle sprain for nearly two years. Did you see him rip off a 50 yard run Friday night? He hasn't reached his ceiling and Spiller's injury history is extensive.

I'm no fan of Wilson but Chesson, like Robinson, have done absolutely nothing as Wide Receivers to claim a spot on the roster.

Robinson has been a good Special Teamer but he's not so good that you keep him over a WR that's actually contributed on the field and scored TD's.

Hill
Conley
Wilson
DAT
Robinson
Chesson

There are your WRs. Wilson isn't going anywhere. Reid loves him too much.
Gimme that group but with Jones replacing DAT.

Won't happen, but should.

DAT is more valuable than you realize. He shows up on EVERY special teams play, returning or coverage. He's in the 53

What have you seen in Robinson as a WR that makes you want him on the 53?

I thought he should have been cut last summer but he was a decent gunner on Special Teams.

I'm just not seeing it.
