I have a high school buddy of mine who is a retired Jackson County judge. He told me he had that exact same rig in his office at the courthouse, and would sometimes play with it between court cases to relieve stress.

Sort of on the same track as that Football game...

If you have ever seen the movie Needful Things, one of the characters receives a mechanical horse track game from the Devil. I've always wanted one of those, but I believe they are exceedingly expensive.

In Vegas, some Casino's have a similar thing, but the ones for your house are sort of a scaled down version.

I will say this - these games bring back a butt load of memories for this old man..

My Brother and I got one of those electric football games one year. Lasted about 5 minutes before we were bored out of our skulls.

Now, the toy that always AMAZED me (and I can NOT remember the name of it) but it was a "machine" that used plastic sheets and would mold itself to different "frames" to make airplanes, cars etc. Stunk the house to high heaven and was dangerous as hell - if you weren't careful, you would burn the piss out of yourself.

Wouldn't last 5 minutes in today's "mamba pamby" world....The litigation would FLY!!!

Burnt myself pretty damn good a few times on this. After I ran out of the liquid goop I started using my green army men or anything else I thought would melt.
They just don't make em like they used to.
