Houston being cut was expected. No complaints there.

Would like to have seen Ford stay so the cabinet wasn't empty. But for $90Mill? Yeah im ok with the Chiefs not paying that.

Breeland isn't an upgrade over Nelson. He's a lateral move. Someone posted a more comprehensive stat sheet and it proved it. I didn't make that assessment until i saw that comprehensive stat sheet that showed Nelson was a better corner across more categories. Demonstrably, he landed a more lucrative contract.

The Ogbah trade was nothing more than a "Change of scenery" trade between two players likely to be cut by their teams. Ogbah, up this point, has been a bust. That's why the Browns traded for Vernon. For what we gave up, and the cap space we gained, i like the move. I just don't expect him to be something he's not.

Same goes for Oakafor. At best, he's a replacement for Bailey. He just hasn't done anything in the league to suggest he's anything more than a stop gap.

What else have the Chiefs done? Sign a career back up LB from Dallas that will likely be the same in KC, and a complete bust in Atachou who will be fighting for a camp spot?

Look, this defense is suppose to get BETTER. Right now, we've made lateral moves at best (aside from Tyrann) and got worse in some areas.

Despite that, ive said ALL ALONG, that i expect bigger moves to come. I've said all along that it's impossible to project the defensive starters until week 1 because so many moves will be made.

But i won't sit here and pretend that these players are something they're not. I won't pretend that defensive roster has gotten better. It hasn't. And not one person can refute that.

So they point to coaches. Great, we have some promising assistant coaches. Spags? Maybe he'll be good. Maybe he won't. His record suggests quite the mixed bad. He's fielded 31st ranked D's before.

I've been nothing but reasonable.

Sorry that im not a ****ing cheerleader that squeals for every average to below average player we sign.

And apparently that hurts Inmen and his 58 bottoms feelings.
I think the Chiefs defense got better personally.

Overhauling the coaching staff should make it better by default.

The “pieces of shit” we brought in last year didn’t fit last years defense. Hitchens, Speaks, and O’Daniel were signed knowing the scheme was changing.

Honey Badger was a huge addition, as we haven’t had Berry in basically two years.

Fuller, Breeland, Ware, and likely a draft pick is a nice upgrade over last year.

Will we have O’Daniel and/or Hitchens. Mike we have Hitchens/Ragland/Nieman. And at Sam we have Wilson/Attouchu.

DL we’ve signed a few good DE’s who are perfect fits for this scheme, Jones will excel.. he’s more made for this scheme. And Speaks is a true DE who’s best chance at reaching his potential would be in the 4-3.

I'm actually kind of meh about this.

I don't want to see Mahomes play in the preseason. I don't think it does him or us any good.

I know being the competitor that he is, he'll WANT to take a hit or two just to get himself back into game mode when the regular season starts up, but I certainly don't have to like any of it.

Damn, even a trip to New England would be pretty awesome.

I’ve always wanted to check out other stadiums.
