I assure you Spags knows not to let Mostert, Brieda and especially Samuel to get to the edge.

Yes, he has a plan.

It starts with an H and ends in "oney Badger"

Can you guess what it is?

Spags knows, but the players need to be disciplined on the edge. Jones still has lapses, and in his desire to make a play he get caught trying to make a play down the line, only to have the play bounce outside where he is supposed to be. Jones also loses his gap responsibility too often when he plays inside. He seems to play every snap like it's a pass rushing situation.

I am not saying he completely sucks against the run, but he could definitely improve our run defense by playing within the system.

I think setting the edge and being disciplined is what Suggs does so well in this scheme.

I watched a interview on Chris early in the week and he mentioned something about not making coaches mad at him . Can’t remember if it was gap responsibility or what

He's had issues with the coaching staff regarding branding, Mr. R Clark.

Jones is all about "Sack Nation."

The coaches wanted to rename it to "Do Your Damn Job And Honor Your Responsibilities Nation."

That’s always been a concern, all year. The speed of our linebackers to cover backs out of the backfield, same deal. Spags has shown the ability to put our players in position to use their strengths, and make adjustment as the games goes on. Hopefully it will continue, today!

I knew it was coming though. This game is going to lean significantly on our DE's ability to seal the edge and our LBs ability to flow in pursuit of these RBs on these outside zones. Shanahan's running a scheme just like his daddy did with Terrell Davis. We'll see if the Chiefs D can stop it.

Yikes. We need to not defer if we win the coin toss. Gotta get a lead early and make them chase us.

guys, it's the same system we just saw.

Different personnel; but the same scheme.

We've got this.
