Genuinely could not ask for a better situation as a fan.

Theres an article or interview somewhere with Patrick where he talks about his Dad playing for the Mets, and how New York would just trash you after a loss or bad performance. He then compares that to KC where he says its a more supportive community that has your back even after a tough loss.

So yeah, I think he just likes it here and wants to invest in the community and put down roots.

By the way, I don't care if you think he's annoying or whatever. Nick Wright's new show is the best sports talk show on TV.

It's actually fun. Very upbeat. There are the hot takes, but they don't take them very seriously, and they're almost uttered in a clownish way so that it's not off-putting to the audience.

Don't compare this show to Skip or Colin or that garbage ass show with Shady McCoy. It's way better.

If you like sports media but hate what it's turned into, give this one a shot.
