Well , they did hit the ball hard today, just right at defenders. This game could have easily been a 10-2 win for us

what do ya'll think of these rules to speed up the game?

for some reason I decided to start paying attention to baseball again and it just seems wild to me

I like that games don't take forever; it's amazing that when you put a clock on these guys that they don't need to adjust their batting gloves after each pitch or make sure the family jewels are still in place.

It's a shame that this had to be done to bring the game back to where it was.

Getting rid of the shift? Well, you just helped a significant number of players who seem unable to learn to hit to the other side of the field.
