Have we overlooked safety as a position of need? - Page 2

The current roster has four safeties:

Justin Reid
Bryan Cook
Nazeeh Johnson
Mike Edwards

Other dbs:
Bush, Bootle

The loss of Thornhill certainly leaves a role to fill. I don't know enough about Johnson and edwards and their ability to fit that role. Anyone else have more knowledge about how it looks for next year?

We have a 5th, x2 6ths, and x2 7ths... take a couple swings at plus athletes and train them up behind our current DB group.

I'd be fine with it in the 5th round or later.

But we already have our top 4 safeties, and Nazeeh is a 5th/special teamer.

Reid is cuttable next year, however, and Edwards/Bush are UFAs. So if a good dude dropped to those rounds, I'd jump on it.
