Draft week mock

1. Jahmyr Gibbs RB Alabama

I think the Chiefs can hold still if they want Gibbs. Risky, but the good GMs do not blink.

2. Jaelyn Duncan OT Maryland

The Chiefs will add at OT at some point. Duncan be brought along slowly before eventually moving to LT.

3. Isaiah McGuire DE Missouri

Gonna be a hell of a player when he gets more ability from our elite DL coach.

-4th and 6th rounder sent to Arizona for WR DeAndre Hopkins-

The Chiefs toss in a 2nd pick for the Cards eating a good portion of his base into a SB.

Most of the rest is split into incentives he can likely earn but not considered as such because he was suspended last season (ex: over 1k receiving yards, active 17 weeks, etc.) and some of it pushed into voidable years. Bam. Done.

4. Jaquelin Roy DT LSU
Some help for DT

5. Riley Moss CB Iowa
Some depth at corner

5. -Traded for a 2024 4th-

6. Hunter Luepke FB North Dakota State

I think he can be an all around weapon on this Offense.

7. Will Mallory TE Miami

Some competition for the bottom of the depth chart.

7. Shakel Brown DT Troy

An interesting project behind CJ.

CEH traded for a 2024 5th after the draft concludes. Roster savings will help cover bringing back McKinnon and some of Hopkins cap hit. Rest will be made by restructuring.

All pressing needs met.

Some more competition at OT.
An extra rusher.
Some bodies at DT.
An go to target if Kelce were to miss any time.

Gibbs in the first is a pure luxury choice to bring another dimension to the Offense.

I don’t hate it. I think you and I are much higher on Roy than everyone else. I like the double dip at dt. Don’t personally care for the tight end pick but if it’s bpa I can’t argue it.

I went TE because I'm not really sold that Belldozer has anything left after the injury.

I like Roy and I think he can do well on this team. I'll take the shit for putting him where I did.
