Ending of OSU ND game perfect example of how football is being ruined.

What a game it had been!! Comes down to 4th and goal at the 1 and half with ND clinging to a 4 point lead 3 seconds on the clock.OSU runs it, dives into the EZ breaking the plane on the last play!! Bucks win 16-14!!!

Just a few short years ago the fans would have been running onto the field in a state of euphoria as OSU walks off a great top 10 matchup. It's pandemonium....but nahhhh.

We as fans in bars, parties, our living rooms and at the stadium were forced to just sit there for 7 or 8 minutes while the officials dissected every frame of the final play like it was footage of the Kennedy assassination. And as ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS(see Jets Pats today) there is miraculously 1 second on the clock.

Now they have to kick the XP. Unimaginable that Ryan Day the head coach of a top NCAA program in the country DOES NOT KNOW THE RULES!!! Should have kneeled because kicking it has nothing to gain and everything to lose. If it is blocked and returned they could lose the game! With 1 sec left and your team kicking off there is no difference from being up 2 or 3.

So now all the OSU fans are more stressed about that scenario, except for OSU bettors. After more commercials they come back for the kickoff. ND attempts a crazy lateral play that fails and the game is finally over. But by that time the whole experience of that all time great game was ruined. As OSU fans we weren't excited and joyful like we were when OSU scored on the "final play" We were just aggravated people saying"Can you believe what these fn refs put us through" By the time the clock got to 0:00 there was no joy left, just aggravation and relief.

Crap like this is killing the game of football.

Because the final touchdown was close enough to be reviewed, and was very important

I don’t think OSU would storm the field for beating ND, even if the game was played in Columbus

When Missouri won 2 weeks ago we nailed the 61 yard kick and the fans immediately stormed the field. Reviews aren’t ruining CFB. Maybe if he had scored a no doubter touchdown against the 10-man Irish defense, there wouldn’t be a need for a review

It might still kill the buzz for a minute, but at least they'd get it right and there's no need to sit around for 5 minutes or more.
Spot on. If they had came back in 30 seconds confirming the TD I would have had no problem with it.

Yes, because the clock doesn’t run on an extra point. So no matter what happens the Chiefs would be kicking off to said team.

If Reid takes a knee to take away the chance of a block and return for 2 points that’s still a tie game.

If we hit the extra point going up by 3 the worst that can happen on a return/flag/field goal is now a tie instead of the other team winning by 1 because you took a knee on that extra point.

What’s higher odds?

1). Blocked extra point and returned by the defense for two points.

OR

2). Kickoff return that has a flag attached to the end of the return to give the other team a long field goal chance?

It's dumb you think it was wise to kick it.

Sunday Ticket will not show games [that are not currently] being broadcast on your local station.
