****DT room

I know WR is the popular topic of positions that need to be revamped. But Damn DT isn’t far behind. Watching Green Bay push us around and bully us up front it became obvious we are weak here too.

If we keep Jones he needs a physical presence to play next to him. Nnadi, Wharton, and Dickerson are terrible. All 3 need to be let go. Getting a guy like Trevondre Sweat out of Texas would be optimal. Getting a stout guy like that who can also push the pucker would be great. On third down passing plays kicking Omenihu or Danna inside is always an option. But there are a couple guys that can be had in the 3rd-5th rounds that could also be development guys to replace jones in a couple years.

Gabe Hall out of Baylor 6’5” 300
Alfred Collins out of Texas 6’5” 295
Keith Randolph out of Illinois 6’5” 305
Darrius Robinson Missouri 6’5” 300

He's wrong. How do you and this dipshit think it's some big coincidence that our run D went to shit when our LBs were shit?

I know you endeavor to be just like Staylor (i.e. be a complete jackass to everyone) but it's clear as day to anyone with a set of eyes that the DT room is subpar, and very possibly could be worse next year depending on what happens with Chris Jones.

Just look at the bodies there - Dickerson is a JAG at best, Nnadi has reverted to being one of the worst DTs in the league after some positive results early in the season, Wharton isn't particularly good, and Farrell and Coburn can't see the field.

Next year we have Coburn and Farrell under contract, that's it. Even if Chris Jones is signed it's a significant weakness on the team. Not going to waste my time trying to track this down, so take from this what you want to, but I saw mention even before the GB game that KC's rush defense DVOA was in the bottom half of the league.

I don't see why there is so much pushback on suggesting the DTs are subpar, because they objectively are.

I 100% agree. The DT situation for next season could be worse than the WR situation we have right now if Veach isn't more proactive in addressing it this offseason. I remain floored that he didn't invest one pick in it in the top half of last year's draft. Damn does it suck we missed out on Kobie Turner.

Every position needs high draft picks to be good, you can't rely on mid and end of the draft players.

Don't blow picks on Rb's.

they haven't drafted anyone in, other than like a 6th round pick that didnt make the cut, in a hot minute. But ya I do hope they can find another one that can play, Nnadi ain't all that great.
