Ohtani is such a good dude so I can’t hate on him for this. I hate that he went to the dodgers. But one thing that’s real real bad for the dude is the angels are such a toxic franchise. It’s despicable the way they didn’t shut him down as a pitcher. Pretty much his entire time there they ran him into the ground.

His usage was so unsustainable. Maybe with a contender they put him on way more of a pitch count.

Hard salary cap, coupled with an equally hard salary floor. Owners can't be cheap or simply buy all good players. Parity increases, smaller revenue teams have a better shot and playing relevant games later into the season, potentially more eyes on the games translating to better ad revenue.
