Cement Board In Shower
I am working on building a new shower and after I put some cement board up it seems to be a bit flexible. Can anyone take a look at that video in the link and tell me if that is normal? I would think that maybe there might be a slight movement there but that looks a little too flexible for something that is going to have tile on it. Is that normal? Also, the studs are 16" on center.

i've built quite a few showers and backsplashes and never had any backer board that moved like that always stiff. that being said if its on the wall and you dont have a joint right over the seams it should be ok. i would for sure glue the seams at least, good luck
