Probably. JuJu was hobbled (Rice is upgrade),:Watson was out so Skyy was getting heavy snaps. Hardman went down. The only dropoff is Kelce.

We are better than Buffalo on paper.

With Allen and Cook turnovers are inevitable.

We will succeeed. They will perish

I'd caution people to not get too high after that game. The Dolphins gave up. Just like against Buffalo they didn't want to tackle, their best players were out and they packed it in.

But it was really encouraging to see us put on a complete game. Hope they can keep that momentum.

It looked like Pat was back playing with confidence. He was hitting his back foot, stepping up and throwing the football.

Granted that Dolphin d was basically a JV crew, but still.

Agreed, Miami flopped hard. Miami coaches and players were not able to deal with the cold weather, and some injuries on the Miami defense hurt them as well.

The main thing I want to see is Mahomes and others continue to protect the ball on offense. If they can avoid the stupid turnovers, they have a fighting chance in every game. It's all we can ask for.

I think the Steelers have a much better chance at stopping Buffalo’s run game than the pass game. 19 sacks and 4 forced fumbles on the season by Watt is hard to replace. Taking nothing away from anyone else on that defense, but Watt could single handedly impact that game. Pittsburgh will need to win ugly to have a chance.

After seeing the Packers destroy the Cowboys, I have a little more confidence in a Pittsburgh win. They are playing with house money right now and no one is giving them a chance. Buffalo on the other hand has been winning, but not dominating. The pressure is on them to win this game as many are already crowning them as the AFC Champions.

1. Mahomes is seemingly 100% healthy and I think playing with a HUGE ****ing chip on his shoulder this postseason. I think he is fully understanding at this stage of the season we arguably have the best defense in the NFL. If Mahomes doesnt turn the ball over we are going to be damn tough to beat.

2. Rashee Rice has emerged as a superstar. This time last year Juju was getting his knee drained every week. Is anyone trading Juju for Rashee Rice right now?

3. Dont look now and I understand Kelce had a drop or two last week trying to catch bowling balls but he had a little more burst in his step last week.

4. Call me crazy but I believe in the law of averages. Hardman or MVS is going to hit a homerun in a huge moment down the stretch. I believe it in my bones!

5. Is it just me or does Pacheco seem like a proven vet at this point? I have so much trust in him. Keep pounding the rock and keep putting Mahomes ahead of the chains. Defenses are getting worn down at this stage in the season.

Pitt has no chance today. But, that's okay we cant expect to have only home playoff games in the Mahomes era.

Do the Chiefs have enough offense to reach their sixth straight AFC Championship Game?

Quote:
There are two ways to look at the Chiefs right now. The first is to say they’re showing obvious improvement with their offense based on how much of a mess this group was just three weeks ago, when the Las Vegas Raiders bullied them in a 20-14 loss on Christmas Day.

Kansas City is playing cleaner football and more of the offensive load has been put on the shoulders of second-year RB Isiah Pacheco and rookie WR Rashee Rice. Those two players were the standouts in Kansas City’s 26-7 wild-card win over Miami -- Pacheco ran for 89 yards and a score, while Rice had eight receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown -- and they’ll have to be equally productive (at least) in the Divisional Round.

That’s because the other way to look at these Chiefs is to say they’re beating up on lesser competition. The Dolphins came into that wild-card game missing five defensive starters and every significant edge rusher who started the season. The Bengals, whom Kansas City beat in Week 17 before resting starters in the season finale against the Rams, ranked 31st in the league in yards allowed this season.

Remember this stat: The Chiefs kicked a combined six field goals and scored three touchdowns on nine red zone trips in those games against Miami and Cincinnati. So while it’s great to see them embracing the idea of winning ugly and relying on a strong defense, they’ll need to cross the goal line more often to advance beyond the Divisional Round.

I think people are underselling Alex Highsmith and Markus Golden a LITTLE, here. Highsmith is a good player and Golden still has some juice left. It's not like the drop-off is from Watt to an off-the-street Justin Houston or Frank Clark.

The Bills should still win, but I think it's far from "no chance" territory.

Oh I am not underselling Highsmith. Golden probably, but not Highsmith. To me the loss of Watt means that Buffalo can focus on blocking Alex with help as needed. With Watt playing they would have to focus on him and allow for more one on ones for Highsmith.

I do believe that they stand more of a chance against Buffalo than people think. It seems like people want Buffalo to win so bad that they are trying to will that team into being better than they have played this year (even during this current win streak).

I think Tomlin is a much better coach than people credit him for and he continually has that team winning more games than their talent should produce. I would not be shocked at all if the game is closer than expected or if Pittsburgh wins.
