I like that Andy played some starters for a couple drives. The entire IOL, Perine, Chenal, Cook, Conner, Hicks, and a few others.

Kept them going instead of keeping them on ice

I’m sure some are… none that I know are saying anything like that. Denver beat a bad lineup for KC into the ground. I don’t know why anyone thought it would end differently.

This game didn't show that at all. We literally were playing the lowest guys we could on the depth chart and, maybe even more importantly, we were using a vanilla ass preseason game plan. Rushing four, no adjustments, run run pass punt. The Chiefs wanted out of this game ASAP. Evaluating our depth based on this game is just ****ing stupid. A better way to evaluate depth would be how the team handles injuries. Ya know, like all of the ones they suffered this season en route to 15-1 and the #1 seed. Mother****ers on here just have to find something to complain about.

Vanilla has flavor.

This was more like tofu offense and defense.

Actually, I started racing bicycles in college and my first four races I placed 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd.

One of them I went clear in the final mile and a guy caught me by half a wheel at the finish.

I agree on a lot of that. I was thinking more along the lines of more younger dynamic guys on the back end of the roster. For WR as an example. We have a good core with Rice, Brown, Worthy, and Hopkins. I don’t think the need of JuJu and Watson is an important. See Rimiggio get time was good. But seeing what Tyquan Torn could do in OT system would have been more ideal in yesterday’s situation.
Same with RB. I’m ok with Perine. But Steele is a FB not a RB. A younger more dynamic guy to get reps and see off he can be anything would have been better.
Guys like that aren’t being counted on. So see if we can find a diamond in the rough
Playing Nnadi the whole game showed he has no business being on the 53 anymore. It would have been good to see what Ika or Lovett could do with extended playing time.

That was more of the thought there

I’ll bet you spent more time typing this up than Andy did putting yesterday’s roster together. It just didn’t matter much to him.
