How do you think Gonzalez' foot injury affects KC?

Without his extra burst, I really think that this is one of the key reasons why we are so pathetic on offense so far. He isnt getting open, and with him being double teamed, he is basically being taken out of the offense, and with only Holmes as a potential threat, it is easy to key in on him.

Our offense no longer scares anyone, they have figured it out, and with such little depth on our team this year, I fear a fork is very near to being stuck in us.

I saw him limping several times yesterday.

On another note, I bet other GMs and coaches must chuckling about the way DV and CP have handled the personell on this team.

I don't think he is playing as well as he could. He kicked ass in the first quarter but after that (which is the story on this game) he disappeared.
The only other time I saw him do anything is drop a bad pass from green later on.

The Panthers knew where we were going. Green had no intention of throwing the ball to Smith, so they doubled and tripled Morton and Gonzo. If Kennison had not been hurt this might have been a different story, because Green and Smith didn't make them pay.

What if this team becomes a total failure. At this point I see them 1-3 at the bye week, and go anywhere from 4-12 to 7-9 on the season if no improvement is made. But, at which point in the season would it be wise to set Gonzalez on the IR and perform the surgery that was needed last offseason, if the season is a wash?
