When You are the high bidder on Ebay, how long does it normally take for the sellor to respond to your emails or contact you?

I realize Ebay gives 3 days, but when I am selling, I am usually curious to see how my auction went so I check in not long after the auction ends. When I buy stuff, usually within a few hours the sellor and I have contacted each other, the money is paypaled, and all that is left is the mailing.

The reason why I ask is last night I bought a boat off of Ebay, and have yet to hear back from the sellor. Given the amount of $, I am a bit surprised that I haven't heard back from them yet.

Within 24 hours most of the time in my experience.

Anything more and you're dealing with a poor seller.

Usually right away. However, if you bought it to cheap, it could be an issue. I had it happen once on automatic kick down linkage set for Mopar. We ended up getting it worked out.
