What happen to the D?
The D can do only so much if you have incompetence on O as far as coaching and game mindset. I was reading in the San Diego papers and the underlying message was that they felt sorry for the Chiefs. The local media will take the win, but it was nothing to celebrate about. Basically they realize the Chiefs are on the skids and going nowhere.
It was sad to see the decline of Arrowhead mystique and energy. Very sad. I never saw this when Marty, Gun, or DV were our HC's. CP said when he hired Herm that he would be the last hire for him before his career ends in KC. Let's hope so. |
