The Last Lecture of Randy Pausch

This video has pretty much exploded all over the internet the last few months, with millions of views, people claiming this changed their life, he was later invited to speak on Oprah, had a story on dateline, etc etc. Its long, but I thought it was really well done.

Quick background: This university had a lecture series where they would invite professors to speak, and the idea was, if you hypothetically were about to die and had only one last chance to give a lecture to your students, what would you say?

Well, Randy Pausch, who was one of the most renowned professors of that university was diagnosed with a horrible type of cancer and was given only a few months to live with no hope of recovery. He was invited to give his "last lecture". This was his message:

I heard it and was both impressed and moved. It makes you take time to think about many things, even though the piece ins't an overly emotional one. I would recommend it to everyone.

I saw this a while ago and seeing at again wondered how he's doing health wise. It appears he is still kicking strong. Here is what I found on Wiki:

On March 13, 2008, Pausch advocated for greater federal funding for pancreatic cancer before the United States Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies.[5] In the week prior to this, he had been hospitalized in order to have needle aspiration of pleural effusion in his right lung.
