DeSean Jackson carted off Eagles practice field

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was injured on the training camp practice field Saturday afternoon, and had to be taken away on a cart. Though the extent of the injury is unknown, McLane's tweets indicate that Jackson may have injured his back.

After being examined by trainers on the ground, Jackson was able to get to his feet and limp "gingerly" to the cart.

Little else is known about the injury at this time. We'll keep you updated.

It's crazy ... two hours ago, I was offered a trade in a FFL that involved me getting DeSean... was pestering the guy to make the official offer via the site. I got a "still interested" text about 20 minutes ago, letting me know if was an official offer.

I told him we would now wait...

Since we get return points in my FFL (and most the other people forget this) these are the two players I was trageting... Harvin and Jackson. Hope they recover quickly.

One of my keepers is Jeremy Maclin, which I was counting as my 3rd WR. Looking even better now!

Adam_Schefter: For what it's worth, being told that Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is "fine" and his unspecified injury is not considered serious.
