You ever have a pen-pal from prison?
I came across this web site: http://www.writeaprisoner.com/homepage.aspx where people can have correspondence with inmates. By clicking each inmate's profile, you can read the self description and the incarceration information. Some are fairly straight forward and some do show remorse. But many of the them, just by description alone, will make you think you will meet a great human being: compassionate, fun loving, loyal, honest... until you read the crimes that they committed.
For example, inmate x-29585 will be doing at least 10 years for robbery. Another inmate 15064568 is there for murder. She committed the crime when she was 16. This one is for life. There are quite a few of hunky looking male inmates state that they want female companionship. How do you judge each inmate? By the past crime one committed? the wordings in the self-description? or the look? Last edited by Msmith; 06-03-2011 at 03:06 PM.. |
