Rank the top 15 (or 20, whatever, I'm not married to a number) LBs in Chiefs history.

I'm asking this because I'm curious where our current guys stand. If you can be a starter for a few years you move to the top of any team's list pretty quick.

Here's mine:

1. Willie Lanier
2. Bobby Bell
3. Derrick Thomas
4. Sherrill Headrick
5. E.J. Holub
6. Jim Lynch
7. Derrick Johnson
8. Tamba Hali
9. Anthony Davis
10. Gary Spani
11. Tracy Simien
12. Donnie Edwards
13. Dino Hackett
14. Walt Corey
15. Thomas Howard

Am I too high on DJ and Tamba? Too low? Right now, I see them as being about the same impact as Anthony Davis and Jim Lynch, which would put them in our top ten in history. I think they need a few pro bowls to move further up, though.

Marvcus Patton needs to be on this list. I don't think I've ever seen a LB play harder on every down.

How would you all alter my list? Do Patton and/or Barber knock anyone off my list?

Meh, probably not.

Patton was a great LB but he declined steadily after his second or third season with us. I would put him in the top 20, though.

Well done, good list.
The first three are very difficult to put one in front of another, IMO. I don't think I put Spani in the top 10, even though he was there on effort.
I would move Dino Hackett and Tracy Simien ahead of Spani. I think Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson will certainly end up in the top 10, maybe very high.
Wow, Carl sure ****ed up the Donnie Edwards contribution, and this is a reminder.

When Kevin gets around to the top 20 H Back conversions, he should be an honorable mention.
