Keurig k-cup coffee makers and pods

OK, I just purchased my first Keurig coffee maker and would like to get some opinions of different coffee pods I should be giving a try in order to find a favorite.

Currently the coffee maker came with Starbucks Pike Place, Carribou classic and smooth, Dunkin Donuts original blend, and Green Mountain Dark Magic. Are there any can't miss coffees out there that I should be trying? They included a couple really good coupons I can use and I want to use them for experimenting. I already know I don't like the Newmans own coffee. Way to bitter for me.

Preferably, for now anyway, keep it to pods I can purchase directly from www.keurig.com

I dig the Dunkins coffee Kcups.

And if you're into trying it out......give Black Rifle Coffee Company a try.

https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/?gc...SAAEgJ-DfD_BwE

I bought a pack of their "Caffeinated as ****" coffee and it's damn good. Plus it's run by Veterans.

I purchased one as a gift from Amazon. They had a multi-pack for sale that had a shit ton of different varieties which I got along with it. From that you should be able to find one you like.

Which multipack? There are several. Kind of trying to avoid multis because most of the ones I've seen have quite a few types I know I won't like and are heavy on the dark roasts. I prefer medium or light roast.

Its the K55. Got it from www.trykeurig.com for $98 which included the MY K Cup for normal ground coffee, two water filters and 55 k cups total. It was a great deal and better than anything I found on Amazon.

I don't remember - like I said, it was a gift for somebody else.

Only drink one cup per day. I can live with 40 cents per cup. Nobody else drinks coffee in my family.

Yeah, it's not the way to go for hardcore coffee drinkers, but it has its purpose. My wife and I just drink a cup once in a while, and it's great to have around for random gatherings when someone asks. I'd guess we go through 40-50 cups per year.

I've had good experiences with the Keurig.com site--the shipping is reasonably fast and you can usually get some sort of discount--but lately I've gotten in the habit of picking up a box or two at a time from the local grocer when they have a medium-roast coffee on sale, especially Arabica coffees from Colombia. A reliable and not too pricey brand is Eight O'Clock's Colombian. Peet's Cafe Domingo is a blend of Central and South American coffees and nice. Folger's Colombian is also good. These are all nice and straightforward coffees. I'm not sure it matters or not, but I try not to order too much at once because I drink it infrequently enough that it can get close or past the expiration date.
I don't care about the cost of a K-cup being higher. It's not much higher and it saves me time cleaning grinders and coffee pots and the like.
I also keep some hot cocoa and tea on hand for guests. Twining's k-cups are nice.

one last thing, the Keurig.com site will let you buy "sample" boxes that have 5 K-cups in them...those are pretty nice for trying something to see if you like it and also to make it so that the total cost of an order exceeds some minimum threshold, for coupons and the like

well, the question in the original post is about keurig. don't have one in our house, but my son has one and uses it every day. same coffee. we have one at work, with one of those tree things w/every damn flavor i could imagine. no one uses it...oh every once in awhile someone sticks a container in it.

i figure if we needed one, the wife would have bought it already. i don't drink coffee. i want something to bring me down, not jack me up.

water and beer.

Eventually you'll get one of the refillable things. No need to spend $.50 a cup or whatever. Just skip to that now instead of hunting down cheap mail order k-cups and you'll be happier.
