Mahomes has a very good shot to be the only QB in NFL history with two 50 TD seasons
he's gonna need a couple more 5 TD games to make up for the Titans though

Allen shouldn't run so much. Mahomes shouldn't throw so much

Honestly I hope he never has to run that much. I cringe every time he takes a hit

9 QBs have 5,000-yard seasons with Marino being the first in 1984 (48 TDs) -but he had -7 yards rushing and 0 Rushing TDs.

Mahomes had 381 Rushing yards last year and 2 Tds. I think the Rushing part is the most difficult for him to attain.

I don't see why not... he scores a couple rushing TDs/season, so what's a few more, and he's gotten close to 400 yards rushing once. And to get 500 yards rushing last season, he'd only need 1.2 more attempts/game at his 5.8 average.
Nothing crazy.

Drew Brees hit the 5,000 yard mark for a NFL record 5 times.
5,476 yards (NFL Record 2011-until Manning broke it) with 48 Tds- 86 Rushing yards and 1 TD was the close he got to the Holy Grail. |

Passing for 5,000 yards in a single regular season is a rare achievement in the National Football League (NFL). Some consider it a soft benchmark, comparable to the 10-second 100-metre dash or the 4-minute mile.[original research?] Nine quarterbacks have accomplished the feat, Dan Marino was the first when he set an NFL record with 5,084 yards passing in 1984.[1] Marino's record remained intact for 24 years, and for over a decade after his 1999 retirement.[2] Peyton Manning currently holds the record with 5,477 passing yards in 2013; this surpassed Drew Brees, who recorded a then-record 5,476 passing yards in 2011, by one yard. Drew Brees and Tom Brady are the only two NFL quarterbacks to have multiple 5,000 yards seasons; Brees accomplished the feat a record five times, while Brady accomplished it twice.[3] Brees and Brady are also the only two quarterbacks to pass for both 5,000 yards more than once and have multiple 500-yard games (however separately). Matthew Stafford is the only 5,000-yard passer with a 500-yard game in the same season. Except for Marino (564) and Mahomes (580), all quarterbacks have needed at least 600 passing attempts to get the yardage. Only Marino (362), Winston (380), and Mahomes (383) have done so with fewer than 400 pass completions. In 2011, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Matthew Stafford threw for over 5,000 yards. Patrick Mahomes and Ben Roethlisberger both accomplished it in 2018. NFL quarterbacks have passed for 5,000 yards in a season thirteen times. Despite the rarity of a 5,000 yard season, only three quarterbacks were named MVP the year of their 5,000 season: Marino, Manning, and Mahomes. Stafford, Roethlisberger, and Jameis Winston are the only quarterbacks to not be selected to the Pro Bowl the same year of their 5,000 season. Tom Brady and Justin Herbert accomplished this feat most recently; the former passing for 5,316 yards with 43 passing touchdowns for the 2021 season, becoming the oldest quarterback to accomplish this feat at 44 years old. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only franchise to have multiple quarterbacks (Winston and Brady) accomplish 5,000 passing yards. NFL players with 5,000 passing yards in a season Drew Brees has the most 5,000-yard seasons by a quarterback, with five. Hope he doesn’t get 50 TDs. The only year he hit that mark our defense was atrocious and cost us a shot at a SB.
