They certainly better be attempting to trade for him as it's a lost season with Zach Wilson.

They just won't have a 2nd this next year and are you that desperate that you'd give up a 1st for one season of Cousins? And would the Vikings trade him at this point in the season for a 3rd? I doubt it.

They CAN'T trade their first or second. Still wrapped up in the conditional trade for Rodgers.

Yes and why would the vVikings trade him for that bad of a return?

It's a one year rental, so I don't think they're getting more than a 3rd.

For the Vikings, it's less about the return, and more about tanking for a QB to pair with their great trio of weapons.

Because they're 0-3 with a legitimate chance at one of the QBs, but Cousins is likely going to win them too many games for it to matter.

Cousins presents the Alex Smith dilemma.

Good enough to tease you. Not good enough to win it all.

Good enough to keep you drafting late, so you can’t easily grab the obvious replacement.

Not every franchise is as fortunate as us to get the best at 10.

Why would the Vikings trade their starting QB in the middle of the season? Is there any precedent in league history for that? Come on.

If you told me it's the trade deadline and he goes for a 3rd, sure.

But they can easily just hold onto him for another several weeks and the pressure grows on the Jets because we know they need to do something. And losing more games just gets them closer and closer to a lost season.

It's a helluva staring match.

I know he's not that good and older - but have they not even tried contacting Matt Ryan? Seems a little surprising. If they did; I missed it.

Because they’re 0-3 even with him playing pretty well? At some point you have to realize that you aren’t going to win this year.
