Oh sure I hate cassel too but i want stanzi to play and win for us instead of cassel. I hate when the chiefs lose i become grumpy angry and not a pleasant person to be around.

He needs to get bumped up to #2 in front of Falco and not run the scout team every week and be active on gameday before anybody can get their hopes up.

He's a rookie with no offseason program because of the lockout, so he is behind on learning the playbook. I suspect we will see him move up at some point in the season once he knows it better. Or at least be activated for games. Patience.

Throwing him in before he is ready won't accomplish anything.

Andy Dalton and Cam Newton are doing just fine in spite of the lockout. If the guy has "it" then he will be able to overcome these minor setbacks. Also, **** Patience. This team is 3-12 in playoff games since Super Bowl IV with over 40 years of mediocrity. Anyone (with the notable exception of Palko) has to be better than Mark.

Probably not a fair analogy. Cam and Dalton have both taken most of the #1 snaps since they got into camp.

The Chiefs have not prepared Stanzi. I don't think the Chiefs have a real shot at the #1 pick, so Stanzi will probably get his chance as early as next year.

Unless, of course, McDumbass is our next head coach....because he loves him some Matt Cassel.
