Ruger Mark IV Tactical 22 Pistol
I looked for the conceal carry thread, not that is works for the Ruger.
Is this a good gun? Everything I have researched is yes. But why own a 22 LR pistol? No stopping power? Not CC. Just for fun plunking? Cheap ammo? Home defense? Fun factor? I can pick it up for $500. Tad steep for a plunking pistol. Thoughts? |

Uh, yeah, buy that. Have a Mark IV Hunter with a Volquartsen accurizing kit. It's super fun to shoot around and takedown is legit just a button press.

If you're good, you only need one shot.

Super fun gun. Surprisingly accurate. Actually cheap to shoot. That price is much cheaper than you can find it just about anywhere else. I own several Ruger Mark pistols. One of them is being used by my niece at the moment, to pass her CCW class.

Buying it. Not quite sure why, but upon the research I have done, quality pistol. I guess, just for the fun of it. I live out in the country. Plunk in the backyard. |

Can't go wrong with about any Ruger. I've got several all the way up to .44 Mag Super Blackhawk with the 10" barrel.
The Mark III Suppressed is super cool. |
