The Chiefs are practicing without Charles, Flowers, Lewis, Fisher, and Colquitt.

Not a trap game though, right?

Right.

Chiefs begin preparing for Titans without Charles

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Kansas City Chiefs were missing several key players, including Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles, as they began preparing for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

Charles missed Wednesday's workout because of blisters on his feet. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he believes Charles will be ready to go against the Titans.

Top cornerback Brandon Flowers remained out of practice with inflammation in his knee, and starting free safety Kendrick Lewis has been dealing with a sprained ankle.

Rookie right tackle Eric Fisher, the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, is still undergoing evaluations from a concussion he sustained in last weekend's 31-7 win over the Giants.

Even punter Dustin Colquitt was out of practice. He hurt his knee last Sunday.

Define trap game. How could a game on the road against a tough team ever be a trap game?

Don't think you really know what a trap game is.

It's a team we are better than and should beat.

But we lose because the elements conspire against us.

So Big Red says he will play, but you don't think so?

This one's way too close to be called a trap game IMO. If it weren't for the whole QB injury thing, we wouldn't even be favored in the game.

You just made a thread saying the Titans are good and now you make a thread about some of our key starters being injured. How the hell do those two things equal this game being a trap game?

Hell trap game means overlooking a weak team in favor of a big matchup the next week. We're overlooking the Titans for the Raiders?

Right.

You are suggesting that the Chiefs are not taking the Titans seriously. Are the Chiefs looking past this Sunday's game and thinking about the big match
up with the Raiders?

If it looked like Colquitt would be out, they would have tried out some punters and signed one on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Charles is playing.

We have good depth at CB, FS, and OT. None of this changes the outcome in my eyes.

Chiefs 17

Titans 10
