McDonalds Hidden Menu?

Has anyone else noticed that McDonalds now has a hidden menu of items available?

I stopped a few weeks ago for a breakfast on the go at the store in Liberty and went inside. I ordered a large orange juice and a sausage biscuit. When the girl was ringing me up, I mentioned I wish they had biscuits and gravy. She said they do it just wasn't put up on the menu that morning, so I ordered it. Not great, obviously from a powdered mix, but not bad either.

Anyway, my friend had me stop this morning at one in KC and there is no biscuits and gravy on this menu either, but they do have it.

Is McDonalds catching so much flack over the Supersize movie that they now have hidden menu items? Has anyone else noticed this? Are there any other "easter eggs" at McDonalds?

I had a friend that worked for McDonalds in high school who said they had many items that weren't listed on their menu, so it's not a new thing. I remember him telling me you could order a grilled cheese.
As far as the biscuits and gravy goes, it's been available in SW MO for years and was even listed on the menu. I recall getting laughed at during the '85 World Series for trying to order B & G at a St. Louis McDonalds.

Hoover is a fan of B-Fast

I wish I would order a Sausage McMuffen with Egg any time of the effin day. Its not like they are cracking eggs back in the kitchen.

I have a good friend who is building a buch of new Maid Rite Restaurants in Iowa and in the KC area, I told him about my love for B-Fast and his store close to me offers b-fast all day! great stuff. he is building a new Maid-Rite Superstore in Overland Park KS, check it out when it opens up. Great Food!

The reason they switch is because the temp of the grill they use has to be hotter for lunch time, and its too hot for eggs.

Is this what it says in your employee manual?

This isn't on the menu either, but I've heard you can get it at McD's.

What bread do they use? I have never seen sliced bread at McDs

Hoover - Breakfast is better at Waffle House (at least I can watch them cook it) or Bob Evans. I am not a big breakfast fan (managed a restaurant for too long), but I just thought the idea of not showing items was odd.

Screw Waffle House. Those assholes need to get out of the dark ages and start accepting credit/debit cards.

They are the largest growing breakfast restaurant franchise in the United States. Evidently, they don't need your credit card.
