Anyone able to control dreams?

I was sleeping yesterday and had a dream where somehow I made the chiefs practice squad. Then somehow i got to dress out for a game. So i am in arrowhead picking out my helmet and for some reason they give me one of those old ones with a plastic face mask. So in this dream it was the first time i figured out mid dream that i was dreaming, but I stayed asleep. Anyway all the players were going nuts getting ready to come out of the tunnel in my dream. I was in the tunnel getting ready to come out when i started running out Roaf stopped me and said. "Trent always leads us out" so then green goes out infront of me then i follow almost get trampled, but for one night i got to come out of the tunnel with the pads on. I keep on replaying that dream man it was awesome. If the alarm didn't come on i bet i would have gotten some pt. The funny thing is i can tell you from the dream exact kind of helmet i was wearing. I also had a dark visor.

I rarely have dreams, at least ones I remember. Only when I'm sleeping 8.5 or so hours a night regularly.

There used to be a magazine called Omni. It was mostly science stuff. They had an issue that had all sorts of ways to help you become aware that you were dreaming.

I think it is called a lucid dream. I followed the steps for a few months, and I am often able to make myself aware that I am dreaming in my dream.

It is pretty cool, but when I try to get too ridiculous with what I try to do, the dream changes or I wake up.

Things like fly (I can only ever seem to get a few feet off the ground) or have superhuman strength.

this one of the few i didn't wake up from and i already realized that i was dreaming. I always dream about footbal for some reason. I got hit in one of my dreams so hard i woke up with snot bubbles

Sometimes something scary will happen in my dream and I'll cry out in fear in my sleep. One time I did this and it woke me up.

I wish. I've been having really weird dreams that freak me out lately. Those, or just nightmares in general.

There are times when I'm dreaming, and something wakes me up, that I go back to sleep and basically continue the same dream.

Dreams are our subconscious mind bringing something into our conscious mind. Lots of symbolism. I don't trust psychic, horoscope, or terot card crap, but I believe dreams can be interpreted.

I've found that sometimes I'll dream of swimming underwater and I'll wake up to find I was actually holding my breath. One of my ex's used to "wake up" and start talking, quite clearly about random things and would proceed to roll over and go back to sleep. She would have no recollection of it in the morning or even what she might have been dreaming about.

My favorite dreams are the flying dreams. I've only had two that I can remember, but they were incredible.

I have about 8 dreams that I have where the story picks up where it left off in a life that is completely different than the life I currently lead, with a different history and cast of characters. It's the damndest thing. I just pick up where I left off, and sort of recognize it and think back to the last time I had the dream and remember what's going on...

I've only once gained control of my dream and made it do what I wanted it to. Unfortunatley, I can't remember the details of it anymore. I just remember that it happened. Wierd.
