I turn on the Lakers game in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Kobe is lighting up that Maverick ass BIG TIME. The announcers talked something about a Tomahawk chop that pissed him off or something. Anyway, long story short, he dominated the Mavericks outscoring their entire team through 3 quarters 62-61 in one of the greatest shooting exhibitions you will ever see. He went 18-of-31, including 4-of-10 from 3-point range, and made 22 of 25 foul shots while playing only 33 minutes. Phil Jacksons comments were "I've seen a few 60-point ballgames in my time, but none of them had been done by the third quarter," said Jackson, who coached Michael Jordan in Chicago. "His 30-point third quarter was incredible."

Back to ESPN. I wanted to see what fired up Kobe so much so I threw on
ESPN where the top 2 stories of the Day were Kobes game and Johnny Damon being signed by the Yankees. I guess it's baseball season. Well Kobes story gets 30 seconds and they don't cover shit. The Yankmees story get 15 minutes right down to how Johnny will look in short hair cleanly shaven with properly trimmed pubes. Their easy coast biase is off the charts. **** the Yankmees, I hope Steinbrenner spends a billion dollars and watches his team go down in flames. One thing I am sure of ESPN will be there to give us a million different perspectives of the same team once AGAIN.

Oh come on Big Daddy, you know my Spurs are just gonna end up spankin that A$$ come playoff time again! hahaha....your right about ESPN though, they might as well become a local affiliate in New York.

Usually, the scene is ESPN blowing one of 'em, or taking it up the poop chute. This was both at the same time.

Lakers are just getting started. The supposed experts at ESPN said there is no way the Lakers can make the playoffs for at least 2 or probably 3 years. They are only 1.5 games out right now with a large majority of home games in tha back half of the season. You gotta hand it to Phil Jackson. I never thought they would be as far along as they are now. Is it their year, hardly. I will be happy with them making the playoffs, everything else is icing on the cake. This team has a lot of potential. Andrew Bynum doesn't look bad for an 18 year old center. Give that guy a couple years and if he turns out to be special look out. Could be another Lakers dynasty.
