Who do you got? Tiger will be playing along side Nick Faldo on Thursday and Friday and apparently they don't get along. That should add an element of interest to the tournament. Phil Mickelson is coming off of his choking 18th hole at Winged Foot. Will Ernie Els show up? What about Sergio Garcia? Colin Montgomerie has been playing well and the gallery will be very supportive of him. Let's not forget Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh and the other lefty Mike Weir. The golf course is burned out, brown, hard as concrete. It's a shot makers golf course. All the greats will be there, it's anyones tournament. If I had to pick one I'd go with Tiger. I think his dislike for Nick Faldo will motivate him.

I think, and hope, a non-entity is going to come out of nowhere and at least challenge, if not win. Just hope it's not Jean VandeVelde again.

You and 1.5 million others (including myself). You can bet the farm that the networks that cover these get down on their knees on Wednesday night and pray to God, Allah, Tom Cruise, etc. that Tiger will be there on the weekend. It kills the ratings when he's not in contention.

I got to chat with Tom Watson for a while at the US Senior Open a few weeks ago. Really down to earth nice guy.
