Giants | Strahan ordered to pay wife $15.3 million

Jeanne MacIntosh, of the New York Post, reports New York Giants DE Michael Strahan has been ordered to pay his ex-wife Jean $15.3 million as part of their divorce. Essex County New Jersey Judge James Convery blasted Strahan in the written ruling. Convery said the arguments he gave to get out of paying up lacked "any credible evidence." Strahan agreed to pay his her 20 percent of his assets for each year of their marriage and giver her half of his total assets, according to a prenuptial agreement. Strahan argued he was not responsible for the 20 percent because she failed to ask for it every year. The judge gave Jean Strahan back interest on her 20 percent annuity, raising the expected payout by $1.25 million. Michael Strahan will also have to pay $18,000 per month in child support and needs to pay $311,150 in a lump sum for support dating back to August 2005.

And this is why so many chicks are jersey chaser. This saddens me, why on Earth should a man who makes 100x times more than his wife, have to give her some of his assetts..EVER if they get divorced. That is absurd. The same would go vice versa, if some poor guy was with a rich wife..(But you don't ever see that do you).

Is this some sort of personal problem? I've never heard of a woman that's visibly on drugs receiving custody of children period, let alone while she's with a reputed drug dealer. And her husband is supposedly an upstanding citizen? I call BS.
