Sooner or later opposing defenses will have to back off of the 8 or 9 man fronts.
1. Defenses will have to start giving some attention to Bowe and Gonzo and Kennison.
2. LJ's rushing attack should find some daylight and get back on track.
3. Our offensive production and scoring should improve.
4. The team as a whole should improve as the season marches on.

Can all of this be attributed to Bowe?

Kennison's injury may have been the best thing that could have happened, since it gave Bowe a starting job and let him show everyone what he could do. And getting Eddie back to go along with Bowe may be the next best thing that could happen.

Tony G was talking about it after the game. He said teams usually run to set up the pass. He said that we need to pass to set up the run. It's the only way to get 9 guys out of the box and give LJ some running room.

Wish they would have considered that in Indy.

OK, right. When Eddie K comes back and now you have to account for Bowe, Kennison, Gonzales, Wilson and (*ahem*) LJ, I don't think you put 8 in the box. And as soon as we see teams sitting back in coverage a little bit more, we'll see the dominant LJ of 2005 resurface.
