Can Clark Move Fast Enough

Realistically, he cant do much till the end of December with the most visible changes that need to happen. But the real fear is that the same bunch of inept talent evaluators guide the Cjiefs through this upcoming draft. Probably the most glaring need and the greatest opportunity is to get that someone or those someones in and in place who are the best talent evaluators you can get.

Hopefully, Clark moves fast with hiring people who work in the little dark rooms under arrowhead who guide the final days work. This has to happen. The ones we have are proven as poor and they belong to Carl and wont be the kind of people to stand up and fight for the right picks.

Clark...start now. Get the rooms cleaned. Bring in the new folks. Firing Carl can take place later.

Weren't you the same idiot that told me a week ago that Clark shouldn't fire Carl because he had a contract.

Oh yeah you were..

Frankly after yesterday if being high on the ownage list gets us a new GM its not a problem. Going from where I was 2 weeks ago to where I am today was made pretty damn easy.

So you think you actually play a role in whether or not we get a new GM?

So what happened to integrity and all that other BS you were spouting?

I am glad you decided to come around because the NFL isn't like any normal job you have clear defined goals..ie win the Super Bowl.

Being that embarrased the last two weeks was enough. Sometimes ya just have to admit you were wrong and move on. I never defended Carl. I just felt that Hunt wouldnt be one of those guys to do a deal then walk away from it. Sadly, he will be forced to cause Carls ego wont let him resign and make it easy on Hunt.

Serious question: Does anyone here know if Clark even gives 2 damns about football?

Seriously, I would be shocked if Herman or Carl were fired. That's just too much money on the books and the Hunt family has never been one to waste money.

I think that they're here for the duration of their contracts. Carl's built up too much goodwill with the Hunts than to be fired over a 4-12 season.

It's not the actual 4-12 season that's the problem. It is the lack of management skills that Carl has shown over the last decade. Yes he helped bring pride back to Arrowhead, but he in the same time it took to do so, has now decimated his, and the Hunt's efforts. How good will a renovated Arrowhead Stadium look half empty? Ugly enough that I think it will force Clark's hand. (I hope)

It would be nice to have an owner who actually is passionate about WINNING football games like Jerry Jones does for Dallas.

Screw that absantee ownership stuff. Give me someone who actually gives a damn like the rest of us.
