I think we should do a sign and trade on Jared Allen.
By the time the Chiefs are able to rebuild Jared's career will basically be over. He is a luxury like LJ was that we should not afford.

It is rare in the NFL but it does happen. I believe the player who shot someone and plays for the Rams is one example. I agree it is rare.

Trading LJ would have made sense since most RB burn out quickly, especially physical backs that get 400 carries.
