-here is his huge mistake. from this angle you can see a huge seem straight up the middle that would have allowed him to run away from the defense to the endzone. Instead he chooses to bounce it and allowed the defense to pursue him down the field. Also, NFL defenses would eat him up to the outside like that just way too much speed in the NFL for him not to take it up that HUGE hole.

I would keep rebuilding the lines. I don't want to reach but if I had a preference for the first 2 rounds it would be OL and DE. I would actually look to pick up a runningback in free agency but assuming Steven Jackson gets resigned there aren't any worth a damn in free agency. The 2010 class looks good though with possible free agents being Rudi Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Jerious Norwood, Willie Parker, Chester Taylor, and Lendale White. There are some other big names also but they are all older guys.

But I see no reason to believe LJ won't bounce back from his injury. I heard on the radio that he has also dropped some weight so we could see some more spring in his step this season and a little more speed out of him.

I don't like signing RB's to 2nd contracts my own or other teams, most RB's are worn out and ask for a bunch of money, you're better off drafting them keeping them through 1 contract then drafting a new one.

And I wasn't really talking in the 1st you'll see a guy like James Davis probably go in the 3rd round and well that would work for me.

It all depends on the back. No way, Minny let's Adrian Peterson walk away from a second contract if he stays healthy. It's not as cut and dry as you make it out to be. I don't buy the myth that HBs are a dime a dozen.

I agree. I'd also say that I'm generally opposed to taking a RB in the 1st round unless your team is at the point where you think you're a running back away from the Superbowl.

BTW, Jorvorskie Lane is huge.

If Chris Wells can stay healthy this year (I mean ALL YEAR) he is going to be a top 10 pick, (of course assuming he plays like he should). Chris has so much potential in a way he reminds me of Maurice Clarett, I mean that he would just dominate a few games and then he would have a couple ok games, he just has a lot of nagging injuries on him. I will give it to Chris though he battled through a lot of games, I think he only missed one last year, and Mo Clarett missed a butt load of games with his shoulder injury.

This will be the make or break year for Beanie, if he stays healthy and runs like he usually does, he is going to make a run at the Heisman and could be a top 10 pick. If he has trouble staying healthy but still is productive look for him in the late first early 2nd round.

I will give it to Chris though he battled through a lot of games, I think he only missed one last year, and Mo Clarett missed a butt load of games with his shoulder injury. This will be the make or break year for Beanie, if he stays healthy and runs like he usually does, he is going to make a run at the Heisman and could be a top 10 pick. If he has trouble staying healthy but still is productive look for him in the late first early 2nd round.
