I wouldn't mind seeing the Chiefs give up a 2nd for him. It appears Rodgers is the real deal, so the Pack may do it. Let him and Croyle compete for the job, and maybe one will pan out. I think it's clear now that we have to have a legit QBOTF backup option given Croyle's injury history. And thus far, Thigpen looks BAD.

Plus, I am not convinced anyone in the draft is better than Brohm anyway.

GB seems to have good talent evaluation and he is behind Matt Flynn on the depth chart. Big risk that he might not have "it" and we lose a 2nd rounder which is pretty much a first round player next year.

Shit I dunno. It wouldn't surprise me what this front office does.

This team is such a mess....there really isn't a clear answer on what to do personnel wise because there are so many holes on this team we can't afford to trade away draft picks. Here are needs we still need:

OG
RT
MLB
OLB (Donnie Edwards will be retiring soon)
CB
S (McGraw sucks and neither Pollard or Page are worthy starters.....yet)
DE (have no pass rush from the ends whatsoever....move Hali back to LE)
WR
QB

What about Morgan? With Franklin and Price healthy I think we are ok at WR.

The #1 pick for a player that was drafted near the bottom of round one and hasn't seen the field for a couple years, or a 2nd which is basically a late first for a player that got beat out by a QB drafted in the 7th round the same year...

That will be around #65 overall, which is pretty fair for a guy who was drafted #55 overall and who they obviously will not be needing as a hedge against the Aaron Rodgers bet.

The Packers would be stupid to take anything other than a first for him, but in our case, they may take a second since we'll more than likely have a top three pick there, if not the first pick.
