Post subject: To Derrick Thomas and/or KC Chiefs fans...

First of all, congratulations. It's about time. I am very happy that he made it. My main hope and goal for today was for Derrick Thomas to get voted in. And it happened.

Also, you should be appreciative of Bob Gretz and the job he did today in the presentation.

It was Bob's best presentation. Like any good QB who has to adjust, he changed some things around, and came up big.

I know that Gretz has taken some criticism in KC and I never thought he deserved it -- but I also recognize that this can be a very frustrating process, so I understans the need to release some anger. But Bob got it done. And this was a very tough class.

After Bob spoke, I followed up by presenting some of my research that gave a more enlightened look at DT's raw stats. Peter King was definitely in DT's corner, and spoke up for him. So did John Clayton and some others.

Great day for the Chiefs and their fans and the Hunt family and DT's mom, and Gretz.

the media pimp each other all the time.

Gretz deserved it, had he worked harder, maybe asked a few people to read his speech in the past DT would have been in already.

You know everything that he did and didn't do....plus you know what is the min. standard to being accepted.

Lucky for you that you aren't held up to your same silly standards at your place of employment.

We should all be celebrating...go piss in your beer.

Hey, now. The task of getting DT elected to the Hall of Fame was a solemn duty. StcChief probably doesn't do anything as important as that in his employment.

Great day indeed. Long over due for DT but he is finally in.

Although Dr. Z is not a KC fan favorite he did switch over to favor DT a couple years ago. The dude is in pretty bad shape right now. I do believe he has suffered numerous strokes recently. From last report I read his career is probably over.
