Good article Claythan. I just hope that Tony can handle the pressure. I think he'll like the winning attitude, not the "you guys are good enough but the coaches can't figure out how to win" attitude.

We can’t compare Gonzalez to Johnson, of course, but in his own way the future Hall of Fame tight end has done plenty to embarrass the franchise. Publicly requesting a trade at midseason last year, and then actually turning down two trade offers, didn’t look good. We don’t need to recount the specifics of Gonzalez’s quest for individual records.
Gonzales turned down two trade offers? Quest for individual records? |

I think with his new attitude and offense minded skills we may just take the best athlete at #3 Crabtree. I saw Crabtree on NFL Network last night and he is working with Deion Sanders. Jerry Rice was there and he has said good things about the kid. When you other guys said Crabtree I was like whatever there is no way we are going have Fits/Boldin part duex here. We just might though. It is proven the WRs make QBs look good.

Also, did you guys here Thigpen on Sirius radio Sunday? They were asking him about all the other running backs if LJ split. He was saying the normal stuff that we know about Kolby and Jamaal, Dantrell, but did you guys know that Jacki Battle is 6'2" 240 and runs a 4.4 40? That is what Thigggy Smalls said. He said when you have a guy like that in the backfield who else do you need?

he has great measurables like you said, but I have a feeling he wont quite be the player teams expect him to be. I think of him as a late 1st or early 2nd round player. Best athlete IMO in the draft would have to be Vontae Davis, Jenkins looks just like Darren McFadden to me, which reminds me of the Raiders. Therefore I dont like him

I don't blame TG for his quest to achieve individual records. He's trying to solidify his legacy in this league as much as possible. If he is not winning a SB, then he should do his best to get the most out anything else.
Good article except for the Tony part |
