Yes, I know this is pretty early, but I figure between trying to knock Detroit out of first, and the adventures of the ever-quotable Zack Greinke coming home to extend his hilariously long scoreless streak, there may be a lot of anticipation for this game.

They should. A great Friday night and the co-ace of the club coming off of a complete game shutout? Shouldn't be a problem....

At least the draft is now interesting since the Royals have actually started spending money, and a lot of it.

A few years ago it wouldn't have even been possible to have this debate and track the trajectory of the players in any meaningful way.

What? We're not comparing the careers of Chris Lubanski and Nick Markakis? **** you, David Glass. But thank you for changing some of your cheap ****ing ways.

Um, Moustakas remains highly regarded. Porcello fell all the way to 27, it's not like it was just the Royals that weren't crazy about him.

Had nothing to do with crazy and everything to do with the contract he was demanding.

He was widely regarded as the second best player in the draft.

Not saying KC was cheap in taking Moosetacos, though.

Moosetacos is still regarded by some as our best minor league prospect. He's just a lot younger than Porcello so it's taking him longer to get up to the big leagues.

I should have said...
"crazy about his agent/contract requirements."
