Was reported on espn that he will in fact start friday if he passes his physical. Seems awfully soon to throw him out there that soon though. Not that our D will lay a finger on him.

If he starts on Friday there must have been an inside deal with Childress and Favre where they knew all along he'd sign once camp ended. He's probably had the Vikings playbook and has been practicing it in Mississippi the last month.

He knows their offense, it's the same thing he ran with Green Bay for years.

And some of you all need to relax I'd rather watch Favre play than any of their other QB's so it makes the overall league better.
