Last TD was BS

I couldn't believe they didn't just kick the damn field goal, game over. I was pissed, I mean really did they need to punch it in on 4th down for any other reason. Did they just do it to say screw you KC.

If you don't kick it and something goes wrong you are now up by just seven and still some time left. Wish he would have fumbled.

fuck you Harbaugh, hope someone returns the favor someday.

I was wondering the same thing. I left the bar in the last minute. 36 seconds left to go. Why didn't they just run out the clock instead of calling a timeout? I'm only asking because I don't know.

Going for the TD gave the Chiefs a much better chance to tie the game.

It was actually a good thing for KC. If I were a Ravens fans, I would have been going ape shit at the stupidity.

This is the NFL, you dont want teams scoring then stop them. Its as simple as that. The Defense was done by then, running the ball was safer then a field goal i bet.

That was the spread.

He asked about the over/under, and I'd bet that if you took the over, you won.

4 and 1 if missed and Chiefs get the ball at the 1/2 yardline and half to go 99 1/2 yards to tie with no timeouts. Or you have an opportunity to get a field goal blocked and returned... Too many things can go wrong on a kick.... Keep it simple and put it way out of reach with a TD .... Have no problem with it

I agree with the Ravens' decision. The Chiefs stood a much better chance of blocking a FG and running it all the way back then they did scoring from the one foot line if the Ravens did not score. Wise decision IMO. Also, remember the Chiefs were the ones calling time out, not the Ravens. The Chiefs could have let the clock run out.

All in all...non issue if you ask me. A loss is a loss is a loss... This is the NFL. No such thing as running up the score.

The FG would have essentially been an extra point.

The odds of fumbling the football on any of the exchanges or during the run were far greater than missing an extra point.

But again, the question is, why did the Ravens call a timeout on the final series?

Run out the ****ing clock. I don't care if a team goes for it because they need the extra security. I have a very big problem with a team that doesn't take a knee when the game will be over by just running out the clock.

Anybody who's ever played on a sports team knows that this is the #1 cardinal sin a team can commit.

I am not sure about that, but I am sure that the odds of returning a blocked FG for 99 yards are infinitely greater than picking up a fumble on a running play and returning it all the way. Ravens were playing the odds. Very good decision.
