rush linbacker

Right now the 2nd rd is full of DE/OLB prospects. Who is your pick and why?
My pick is Hughes TCU
He is leader of a nasty TCU defense, can drop in coverage and does for TCU. Has the speed to get around the corner and actually get a QB on the ground(Hali).
1a. Hughes TCU
1b. Von Miller T A&M had be happy with either one of these guys
2. Norwood SC great player worry about his coverage skills
3. Kindle UT Dont trust texas players
the rest aren't worthy of 2nd round consideration in my opinion.

I'm not crazy about the top-end talent rushing the passer. Hughes is tempting, but I have a feeling some better value picks will be there with our 2a pick. If he's still around by 2b, I take a hard look at him, to be honest. I also like Miller a lot, but... I don't know, I typically don't like pass-rushers in the draft, I don't know why. I know you have to draft them but I almost never seem to like them when I study them.

Probably my favorite passrusher in this draft is O'Brien Schofield from Ohio State. The only thing he does is get in the backfield, and that's what I think this team needs. He'd be a solid 3rd in my opinion, and if he tests really well I can see someone reaching for him earlier.

I think the real passrushing talent in this draft is in the midrounds. Some guys that can be Dumervil-type pass-rushing specialists can be good depth and we can draft some elite guys in the next couple years after.

I am also thinking 2b, like a lineman or whatever 1st round talent slips to the 2nd
We need someone to replace Vrabel I think one of these guys would be a good choice

Yeah, I am basically hoping for Berry/Mays and the best 1st rounder that falls to 2a.

Schofield is a Badger, not a Buckeye.

I think it's a good deep class for rush backers.

I like Norwood the best since he already plays OLB and then lines up as a rusher on passing situations. He already does it all. Plus, no matter what game you watch he's always around the ball. He's not going to blow people away with his workouts, but he's an excellent football player.

On the next tier I see Hughes and Graham. Very productive college players, but can they stand up?

After them you have the likely boom or bust type guys - Schofield (very productive but receives virtually no hype), Selvie who has disappeared since his sophomore year and Kindle who disappeared this past year. Good workouts could move up Miller and Worilds.
