The BCD's March Mock (Chiefs)

1. Dan Williams – I feel this guy upgrades both the run defense and the pass rush. He can be a 3 down guy opposed to having Cody for 2 and I think he is a much better player. I’m seeing Casey Hampton type upside.

2A. Jerry Hughes- Him and Hali as OLB’s have not stop motors and good ability to get the passer. Despite being better our pass rush still sucked and Vraebel is a big question mark.

2B. Brandon Spikes – I like his leadership and toughness he would bring to this team. Since MLB’s stock tend to slip I think he will still be there for this pick

3. Dan Lefevor – I think you should pull the trigger on a QB every draft and this guy has has potential to develop into a solid player from what I’ve seen. His pro day will be crucial however.

4. Larry Asante – Another hard nosed tough football player. Page and Asante is a major upgrade from Brown and McGraw.

5A. Eric Olsen – We need a center in the worse way and Olsen should be able to step in and play right away.

5B. Ben Tate – Assuming we don’t pick up a FA RB, Tate would be a good guy to compliment Charles.

5C. Dezmon Briscoe - Good value here to help our receiving core.

Like Ben Tate think he goes higher after combine olsen would be good value in 5th if hes there. Like the 1st two picks as far as need would rather have Berry at 1. Hughes would be great @ 2a. Don't know about Lefevor in 3rd think next year has better QB prospects. Briscoe would be great value in 5th if there.

We just have so many holes to fill it's tough to fill each one in a draft. I like Berry, but I think a dominant NT, not just a space eater would mean so much to this team.

Big Cat,

Thanks for taking the time to put a mock together. I like Williams, just not at 5. If the Chiefs traded down, say with Buffalo, this would be a good pick, but Honestly, I think I like Cody better. I know a lot of people are hung up on him being a two down player or that he's a fat tub of goo, but he was a lot more productive in collage than Williams. At least you didn't have us selecting a RT at #5.

I don't know if Hughes falls that far, but if he did that's an outstanding pick, as is Spikes at 2b, again, not sure he falls that far.

I really like the pick of LeFevor. I really like him and think he'll develop into a strong starter. Had him as our 4th rd pick in a previous mock, but I don't think he falls to 4th rd. Again, I'm impressed.

The other picks I'm fine with, except Briscoe. I think there's much better talent available in the 5th rd than him.

I would rather grab Cam Thomas in the 2nd-3rd round range.....instead of Williams in the 1st.

I could live with it, but I'm a big Dan Williams fan after watching that Sr. Bowl, but I'll be the first to admit I have not exactly watched everyone of his snaps played at Tennessee and have a great feel for the guy.

For my preference, Id swap out Chris Scott for Fred Barnes and Denario Williams to Tony Moeaki. Both have fantastic hands and could be good targets for him in those spots.

Decent mock actually. I like it.

It may be the best post Ive read of yours.
