Misc Random awkward moments thread.

You ever just have little moments of awkwardness that pop up in your day to day life?

I am not sure if anyone caught it in the room but I was thinking back to a meeting I was in this morning. I am pretty sure I used the term "DNR" when I meant to use "NDA". So it is a distinct possibility people think I am a crazy asshole.

At work, I sent out an email to a superior named Bobby and I copied my boss and 5 or 6 other people on it. I bcc'd myself so I could go back and re-read my masterpiece email, and I noticed after I sent it that I started the email off as "Booby,".

I remember that I accidentally entered the girls restroom in second grade. That was embarrassing.

Man, people at my former place of employment would do stupid emails all the time. One of the head guys in the address list was directly under an entry for all managers. Someone about once a month would inadvertently send an email meant for him to about 3,000 managers nationwide.
Also, every once in a while an HR manager would send out a job opening to the entire company before the person being fired was notified. You knew that happened when a recall request would hit your inbox about 2 minutes afterwards.

thats the best.. gotta love recalls... that would suck if you were the one being fired though... bad way to find out

The guy was super cool about it, he said it happens to him a handful of times a year.

It happens at my work to, a couple of weeks ago, a minion employee sent out an I'm leaving forever email to the whole facility. Most people were like wtf are you?

On the topic at hand, my life has been nothing but a string of awkward situations so I really can't definitively nail one particular moment down.... Outside of my first time in the sack.

At a previous job we used to have fun spoofing emails to each other. Well a spam email made it thru our firewall and was sent to our payroll distribution list (the entire company). So the entire company gets spammed with a Viagra ad that was sent from "Harry Johnson". The guy next to thinks someone is screwing with him and replies. Too bad he hit reply all. His response - "Thanks Man, but I got that covered!"
