KU Josh Selby Not Cleared by NCAA

Just received a text from 610 that Josh Selby was not cleared by the NCAA. No link as I'm on my phone, but I didn't see anything else about this.

Yeah, NCAA is questioning his amateur status. I'm not going to worry about this until October. It sure will give KK a lot to talk about it. Losing Selby wouldn't be very good, but I don't think it'll even come close to happening.

Questioning amateur status, not academic.

Selby's "advisor" is Carmelo Anthony's business advisor (or something like that)

Doubtful anything will come of this.

Well that would suck if he doesn't clear but there is no reason to worry at this point. Rush and the Morris twins both cleared late. So this could turn out to be nothing.

Yeah, but with all the recent hub-bub about player/agent connections, he'll be scrutinized more. But I do think he'll be cleared. The NCAA just wants to look like they're covering all their bases.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't John Wall just get suspended last year for something along the lines of taking improper gifts?
