I'm watching re-runs of that reno cop show, and this crazy homeless guy said speilburg stole his ET idea, and ET stood for Every Time, because Every Time he laid down to sleep an alien would show up.

It was funny to me. But it was something that 75% of the people I associate with would not find funny because they really do have aliens visit them at night.

Stupid? Or crazy?

Maybe you should have had a third option.

I think the majority of people lack common sense. Maybe not "stupid". I'm sure tons of people are book smart. But that won't keep those people from doing stupid things because they lack any basic life common sense.
