First time for everything.
As some of you know, I'm a second year dntal student. This Saturday I gave my first 10 injections into a human mouth and received 10 from a fellow student (still pretty sore, he got a little bone). This Friday I get to prep a tooth and restore it on a live patient for the first time. Pretty nervous about this, but also very excited.


Anyway just wanted to share this experience with Chiefs planet.

Thats what all our patients at the dental school do. It's like a fourth of the cost of a real dentist plus we have to get checked off after every step for every procedure. It sucks but it's my life.

That was my first thought as well. I had some Marathon Man dental experiences when I was young and I remember it like it was yesterday, when I have to go in. Do they get some kind of a good guy deal for having a student work on them O.City?

Oh yeah. The cost at the dental school is about a fourth of what you pay in the private practice.
