Do you still get angry when the Chiefs lose?

I have to admit, I honestly haven't gotten really, really angry with a Chiefs loss since 2007. I used to scream, throw things, break sh*t. I'd get pissed when they lost. Since Herm's 2nd year, I really haven't gotten that pissed. I still get kind of angry in-game; but once the game is over, I really don't care anymore.

I suppose I'm just desensitized to losing over the last few years. Or maybe I've just grown up some.

Like yesterday, for instance. I probably would have been pissed for the next few days that our defense allowed a QB who only completed 2 passes to beat us. I'm still dumbfounded as to how that happened, but I'm not really that angry.

Part of me kind of likes that I don't allow a loss to affect my mood for very long, but another part of me is disappointed that the play of this team over the last 5+ years has left me somewhat meh towards this team.

I use to get so angry during games that my dogs ran and hid from me. During the Herm years and the first year of Haley I went numb. I didnt cheer or get mad. Nothing. I sat quiet every game. Sometimes I would laugh but thats the only emotion I would show. It was liberating.

Last year, I showed emotion again, but contained my anger. I figured winning was a gift and not to get angry when they would lose or make stupid plays. Im finding myself back to numb. Yesterday, I sat quiet again. The only time I showed emotion was when Baldwin caught that pass that came back for some stupid penalty.

People cant even talk shit with me because I dont talk smack. We dont have smack to talk.

Sigh...Thats the overall emotion of the season for me...just sigh.....

I agree except for the "meh towards this team" part. I just have gotten better (through extensive practice) at not letting a Chiefs loss wreck my week. The flashes of potential have helped as well, although they are fewer and farther between with JC and Berry out this year.

I don't get very pissed off when they lose and I don't get very excited when they win. The product these guys have put on the field for the last several years, has left me feeling numb.

Until they gather up a group of players that has a shot at winning a playoff game, I don't see that changing.

No, because im older and wiser and put things into perspective alot more now.

Plus, the team hasnt really been good for the better part of a decade and i know its wasted energy. Still root for them to win every week though.

Mostly I get ****ing disgusted.

Then I come on here spit unholy venom.

No energy actually wasted on the game though.

In fact it was funny, I was in a chat room during the game and I said "third and 11? here's where Tebow throws a TD."

Boom. Roasted.

Just laughed.

If it's the Donkeys or the Raiders I still get angry. Any other losses I tend to recognize that no amount of screaming will change the outcome.
Today is an especially sad day. I REALLY hate the Bronco's and to lose at home in that fashion will bother me for a while.

This

I'm done letting this POS Organization ruin my weekend. I get disgusted watching the games, but let it go immediately thereafter. Matter of fact, I haven't watched the 2nd half of the last 2 games. I went golfing yesterday with my 2 boys after the 1st half and we had a great time. I didn't even bother to check who won until after we got home.

I believe I have entered into fair-weathered fan status.

Agree, And a QB...

Or some WR's that can catch the ball.

then I realize we should give Crennel a raise and at that point understand that its all Rainbows here...

it's getting a little easier.
Matt Cassel's play and Todd Haley's lack of coaching puts me over the edge.

nope, don't get angry.

I only get angry over the things I control.
I chose to follow this team years ago. You take the bad with the good.

You win some, you lose some. I take a lot of crap at work on Monday's but it is all in good sport so that doesn't bother me.

Obviously, I would like for them to be better. I think I know what the problem is, and it is going to be like this for a while.

Fans can boycot the team to make changes. I stand amazed at the number of people who pay out their hard earned money to take this disappointment each and every week of football season.

If you are angry, be angry at yourself.
